Good article

I found a good canyon with water.. out here in the desert water is important and can be a real magnet for game. Lions have to drink and the things that lions eat have to drink.. so its a real good place to check from time to time .. Me and my mule and a bunch of hounds riding around in the desert trying to find a Mountain Lion to trail..  

Winter is here and the desert is cold. In the next series of videos I get serious about catching a lion. Pounding out the miles on my mules. There is  a mountain lion out there, it's just a matter of days and miles to get the hounds on a fresh enough track. This desert is one of the hardest places in the world for the hounds to trail but they try as hard as they can. It's always amazing to me the amount of try and determination a good dog has. Traditional cougar hunting on mules and free casting hounds dryground.

Trappers and Hounds.. with all being outdoors men and or women and with us each having passion for these things we need to learn how to work together.
